The wedding industry has often been described as recession-proof - even when times are hard, people still want to get hitched. And to go some way to proving this, The Luxury Wedding Show has grown this year to meet demand.
The event specialises in showcasing designer wedding gowns and upmarket venues. Creative director, Bridget York, says: "The amount of brides and grooms who attended the Luxury Wedding Shows in 2011 clearly demonstrated that even in these troubled times, the bond and commitment of marriage is still something the majority of people want to work towards achieving and, as this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, most couples want to ensure they 'get it right'!"
The show is designed to be glamorous and fun and there will be an exhibition and a catwalk show at each of the six dates. For more information visit www.luxuryweddingshow.co.uk
