We adore the quirky and stylish designs by London-based handbag designer Madeleine St Clair, and now she's gone one step further by launching a bespoke service for brides-to-be.
In order to create their dream wedding accessory, brides can enjoy a private consultation with Madeleine in her London studio. After discussing the design of the wedding gown and the bridesmaids' dresses, Madeleine will help select one of the beautiful handbag styles available - from which the bride can choose luxurious leather or silk - before adding the finishing touches from a selection of trimmings and frames.
For the ultimate personal touch, the bride can even have a family heirloom or charm sewn into the bag. Then, to complete the piece, the design is finished with a commemorative plaque engraved with the couple's name and the date of the wedding, which is sewn into the bag's blue satin lining.
Bags usually take between four to eight weeks from design to delivery. For further details, visit www.madeleinestclair.com
